Leona is an Equine Divisional Director and has been a familiar face at Oakhill since June 2013.

Having graduated from Dublin in July 2009, Leona subsequently completed an equine medicine fellowship at Hagyard Kentucky followed by a hospital internship at Leahurst.

Leona is an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Equine Medicine and leads our medicine service dealing with medical cases in the clinic, on the road as well as receiving medicine referral cases from our referring veterinary practices. Her main areas of interest lie in gastroenterology, respiratory medicine and dermatology.

Outside of work, Leona is married to Andy, one of the farm directors and they have two young children. In a former life, Leona was an avid showjumper and hopes to return to jumping or at least some form of riding once her family are a little older!
