Abbie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2024 and joined Oakhill Vets just a month later to begin her veterinary career. Since then, she has enjoyed seeing a wide variety of cases and is developing particular interests in medicine and dentistry.

Abbie believes that kindness, empathy and good communication are essential qualities in a vet. She takes time to get to know her patients and their owners, aiming to build trusting relationships and make every visit to the vets as positive and stress-free as possible, particularly for those who may feel anxious.

Originally from Shropshire, Abbie has fallen in love with the beautiful Lancashire countryside. Outside of work, she can usually be found gardening or enjoying a long walk, with her toy poodle, Princess, by her side!
