We’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic equine ambulatory veterinary surgeon, as part of our 15-vet equine vet team. Based out of our busy equine clinic you will be on the road looking after our client base across Lancashire.

Equine Ambulatory Veterinary Surgeon

Oakhill Equine Vets are looking to recruit an enthusiastic equine ambulatory veterinary surgeon, as part of our friendly, 15-vet equine vet team.

With a fully equipped clinic including DR, advanced US scanner, cordless dental float, dental scope, shockwave, laser, in-house Lab, ultrasound, gastroscope, modern surgical suite and MRI, we can offer an excellent base from which to work for any ambitious candidate.

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Role: Based out of our busy equine clinic you will be on the road looking after our client base across Lancashire. You will see a good mix of routine and preventative, emergency care, dental, on-yard castration, X-ray and reproduction work.

Practice type: Independent RCVS accredited and BEVA Approved AI Practice.

Hours: This position is full-time (4.5 days a week) that will include a share 1 in 6 OOH. We value a good work-life balance.

Skills/experience: Some experience in ambulatory work would be beneficial but your practicality, enthusiasm and clinical curiosity are more important to us.
