We are open (but different!)
We are fully open to care for all your pets health and wellbeing needs, but protecting the health of you, our clients, and our staff, remains a priority, so appointments will be a little different.
How have things changed?
Initial consultations will be booked in for a telephone appointment (unless an emergency) with one of our vets, who will assess your animal remotely – you may be asked to send photos or a video of the problem.
If possible, treatment will be carried out following this consultation, and medication can either be collected (ring on arrival and we will bring the medication out to you), or posted to your home via recorded delivery.
If following this appointment your pet needs to be seen, you will be asked to come down to the practice.
The telephone consultation fee will be deducted from your bill if you need to be seen at the practice.
On arrival we ask that you ring from the car to let us know you are here.
To minimise any risk to you we will take your animal from you at the car or door into the practice.
One of our team will hold your animal for examination by our vet.
The vet will ring you to discuss the findings and investigation or treatment plan.
The appropriate treatment will be carried out and your pet will be returned to you at your car.
You can book further appointments and pay over the telephone and a member of our team will bring any medication out to you.
Don’t be alarmed about your pet coming in without you, we have found over the last weeks that they are loving coming to visit (with the help of lots of fuss and treats!)
