Nigel Taylor

Accounts Manager 

Nigel is originally from Preston. He worked for Nat West Corporate Banking in the City of London before returning to the Fylde coast working for Nat West as a branch manager.

He joined the practice in 2003 and enjoys playing the guitar and motorcycling. As a teenager he was an apprentice professional footballer and gained his military parachute wings with the Parachute Regiment.

Sarah Abraham

Office/Marketing Manager 

Sarah is originally from Basingstoke but now lives with her husband, labrador and 2 cats in Southport.

Sarah joined the practice in July 2009 after working for a number of years within a North West marketing agency. Her hobbies include snowboarding and socialising.

Sue Townley

Admin at Oakhill - Goosnargh

Sue joined the practice in October 2010.

Before joining Oakhill, she spent her time working with race horses in the North West.

She now lives locally with her two springer spaniels Jerry and Diefer.

Alison Copley

Admin at Oakhill - Kirkham and Abbey - Conway Drive

Alison has worked at Abbey Vets since 2004. She has no pets at the present but is looking forward to having another dog in the future.

Lynne Ward

Receptionist at Abbey - Conway Drive

Lynne has been married for 35 years and has two sons, three grandchildren, a ginger cat called ‘Ant’ and two british shorthairs called 'Sully' and 'Lilly'. Lynne has worked at Abbey Vet Centre as a receptionist for over 20 years and has loved working with clients and pets alike. She lives in Fulwood so quite often is found chatting with clients and their pets outside of the work environment too!

Karen Kelly

Receptionist at Abbey - Conway Drive

Karen has worked for us since 2005 and is married with two teenage sons. She has a dog called ‘Polly’ who she rescued and nursed back to health, a rabbit called ‘Albert’ and a tortoise called ‘Speedy’.

Deborah Pratt

Receptionist at Abbey - Watling Street Road

Deborah has worked on reception at the Watling Street Road branch since 2003, with additional duties in theatre. She is the fun loving owner of two Glen of Imaal Terriers called ‘Molly’ and ‘Murphy’. A breed that originated from county Wicklow in Southern Ireland. She finds Murphy is the more laid back of the two whereas Molly has often got a tendency to be hyperactive.

Angela Perry

Receptionist at Oakhill - Kirkham

Angela has worked for us as a receptionist since 2005. She is married and has two daughters, a step-daughter and a step-son. She has several animals including her Rottweiler ‘Tia’, a horse ‘Comannchi’, 2 rabbits 'Princess' and 'Pirate', and a fish. Her husband says ‘No more pets!’

Helen Dutton

Receptionist at Abbey - Watling Street Road

Helen joined us nearly 5 years. She enjoys her job and spends much of her spare time with her various animals.

Beverley Hall

Receptionist at Oakhill - Kirkham and Abbey - Conway Drive

Beverley joined us in October 2007. She has a teenage daughter, two cats called ‘Malcolm’ and ‘Jenny’ and a cocker spaniel called ‘Poppy’. She works full time during the day as a laboratory technician at a local high school and with us in the evenings.

Anne Walne

Receptionist at Abbey - Conway Drive and Watling Street Road

Anne joined our small animal teams at Abbey Conway Drive and Watling Street Road in January 2011, following the sad closure of Raggamuffins kennels and cattery where she had worked since 2005.

Anne has owned and cared for a variety of animals over the years and her spare time is taken up looking after her pets, currently cats, rabbitts, fish and a fancy dove. 

Georgina Flood

Receptionist at Abbey - Watling Street Road

Georgina joined the Abbey Watling Street Rd practice in March 2011.

As well as working the evenings at Abbey, Georgina has a very active day job as a dog walker and pet sitter.

Her spare time is spent with her three jack russells - Phoebe, Izzie and Henry and her adopted bearded dragon 'Katarvi'

Jane Dew

Receptionist at Oakhill - Goosnargh

Jane is originally from Liverpool and has lived in Preston since 1988, joining the practice in 2002.

Jane is married with a daughter and a son. Her hobbies include riding her horse, dog walking and watching rugby. She enjoys weekends in the Lake District.

Janet Redmond

Receptionist at Oakhill - Goosnargh

Janet was born and bred in Preston, but now lives with her husband on the outskirts. She joined the practice in 2004. 

Janet is a keen runner and has completed the London Marathon and the Great North Run, not to mention many other half marathons and distance races. Janet claims she is now reduced to walking the dog, but occasionally nips out for a quick run!

Aly Heggie

Receptionist at Oakhill - Goosnargh

Aly joined Oakhill in 2007 after working in finance for a number of years.

Aly has a busy homelife, being married with two sons, two horses, and two dogs! Previously Alison has worked with horses in Canada, before returning to the UK where she has worked in riding schools, hunting yards, and eventing yards.

Sue Greenwood

Receptionist at Oakhill - Goosnargh

Sue joined the practice in 2007. Sue spends a lot of time running, walking her dog, and yoga.

Sue has completed the Great North Run and is training to run the London Marathon.

Susan Cross

Receptionist at Oakhill - Goosnargh

Sue joined Oakhill in January 2009. She previously worked in Finance.

Sue is originally from St Helens but has lived in Preston for 20 years. She is married with one daughter, a horse and a dog.

Debra Hart

Receptionist at Oakhill - Goosnargh and Abbey - Conway Drive

Debra joined the practice in August 2009.

Debra lives in Longton with her two daughters, dog, rabbit and 2 hamsters. In her spare time she loves walking the dog and spending time with her children.

Tina Collum

Receptionist at Oakhill - Goosnargh

Tina joined our reception team in November 2010. After previously working in admin.

She lives locally with her dog 'Alfie' and her parrott.
