Welcome Rosie!

Those of you who came to the Client Meeting at Ribby Hall in November last year will recall our excellent speaker Rosie Owen, the then Equine Surgery (Orthopaedic) Resident at Leahurst Equine Hospital, where she has been specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of equine lameness for the last three years.

We are delighted to announce that Rosie has now joined our team at Oakhill on a full-time basis, and as well as working in the ‘first opinion’ side of the practice will be working alongside Alison Fairburn and other colleagues at the surgery investigating more complex lameness and medical cases. Rosie also gained her RCVS certificate in Equine Surgery (Orthopaedics) last summer and is now looking forward to establishing a surgical caseload at Oakhill.

As veterinary investigations become more and more specialised we are very pleased that we have the facilities and expertise in our team to provide the latest treatments and care for our patients.

We wish Rosie a very warm welcome.
