Grant Opportunity for NW Farmers
You may have already heard about the exciting funding opportunities coming to ALL farmers in the North West.
Well Oakhill are now one of the local veterinary practices taking part in the project, which aims to promote health and welfare in a new, innovative way.
The Rural Development Programme for England provides funds to encourage all types of rural development - so whether its investigation into disease control, cluster flushers for the parlour or a new set of sheep handling facilities - listen up!
Grants are available for 40% of your costs. Vet and technical advisor fees and any investigative costs such as lab results are fully funded. Together, a comprehensive and individually tailored health plan will be prodiced for your farm- FREE of charge. Not only will this be designed to optimize productivity and animal health but is essential for grant application. A minimum of £2000 and maximim of £12,000 is available per farmer and the scheme runs until 2013.
