Farm Focus Day 2010
Our first farm focus day was held on the 4th August at Lower Alston Farm, Ribchester.
It was focused on the subject 'Managing the newly calved dairy cow' and was held in association with Dugdale Nutrition, Alta and the Talbot family who kindly hosted the event.
Over 80 farmers turned up to learn more about the subject and to listen to each of the five speakers including our very own Tracey Taylor and Michael Murphy.
After a morning of intense information a hearty lunch was provided at the Ribchester Arms where all the information could be discussed and any questions answered.
We want to thank everyone who came and hope you all found it a great and informative day. After the first event being such a great success, we will be holding another focus day in the near future...
