On Tuesday 10 November we hosted our annual equine evening at Ribby Hall Village in Wrea Green, which was attended by around 300 clients.
Dr Ellen Singer(Senior Lecturer in Equine Orthopaedics at Leahurst) was kind enough to give her time to deliver a superb presentation on Laminitis, related treatments and preventative measures. She was supported by an equally informative presentation on equine dentistry by our very own Matthew Robin.
The event gave us a great opportunity to present the World Horse Welfare with a cheque for £750 which was raised at the Oakhill Open Day earlier this year and throughout the night we were raising funds through the raffle for Dr Singers chosen charity Clare House Hospice in the Wirral.
Oakhill would like to thank all the clients, Ribby Hall and the speakers who attended the event which helped in making it such a huge success.
