DIGITAL X-RAY
As technology continues to accelerate into the 21st century we are continually looking for new ways to improve our service to you. With this in mind we have recently installed our new digital x-ray system. Like the machines found in human hospitals this allows us to take high quality images which can be viewed & manipulated within minutes of the x-ray being taken. The detail & clarity of these images has been outstanding & the system has already been extremely useful in our lameness work ups whether it be a problem in the foot or fetlock, shoulder or hock. It has also helped in our assessment of back & neck problems and we are also able to x-ray the horses head and to date have found tooth root abscesses, fractured jaws & nasal tumours to name but a few. We feel that this is a very exciting addition to our service.
